Welcome to the Virtual Financial Aid Office!

This site provides services for students applying for Federal Financial Aid.

If you are a new student to this site, please register now to gain access to the Student Interview Center, Financial Aid Estimator, and other resources this site offers related to your Federal Financial Aid Application process. Then, complete steps 1-3 below.

Step 1: Request a PIN

To complete your FAFSA on the web you must first request a PIN (Personal Identification Number) at The Department of Education will send you your PIN via email. This will be used to electronically sign the FAFSA, which must be done by both the student and their parent.

Step 2: Complete the FAFSA

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at The Grace University federal school code is 002547

Step 3: Complete the Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAOI) Interview.

You will need your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) from your FAFSA.

What is the Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO)?

The GRACE UNIVERSITY Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO) is our system for processing all our students' aid and putting together award packages. This new program is set up to help guide our students through the complete Financial Aid process, while offering a number of unique advantages to its users:

  • You can apply for aid and view your progress online 24-7 from any computer
  • All the steps for application are on the website, with detailed instructions
  • The site is thoroughly secured, meaning confidential records can stay at home
  • Parents and students can complete the process together from home
  • You can print any form you may need from the website
  • You can email questions for support at any time, day or night
  • Technology allows agencies to pay your bill more quickly
  • You and your counselor can track progress and resolve problems
GRACE UNIVERSITY VFAO will also be where students complete their entrance interviews.

Understanding The 1098-T Form

You, or the person who can claim you as a dependent, may be able to take either the tuition and fees deduction or claim an education credit on Form 1040 or 1040A for the qualified tuition and related expenses that were actually paid in 2014.
