Pastor

Herold Mennonite Church

Bessie, OK

“The Country Church with a Caring Heart” is seeking a pastor who cares about country people.

Herold Mennonite Church, ESE of Bessie, OK, has been faithfully serving God since 1899. Although the congregation was founded by farm families, in current times members also have careers in the surrounding communities of Cordell, Clinton, and Weatherford. In this setting, there is opportunity and aspiration to become a missional church—if a pastor will lead the way.
The church facilities include the sanctuary and a Sunday School addition plus a modern Family Center that contains a half-court for basketball or other activities. A parsonage with church office is provided in the town of Cordell.
On Sunday the Herold attendance averages 40-45 with the age range of 2 years to mid-80’s. Considering the small congregation together with the existing commitment to missionary support and traditional Mennonite projects such as the relief sale, MDS, etc., the pastor position would begin as part-time. There is a strong desire to grow the church and the position. Minimum educational requirement is Associate Degree in Bible. Some preaching experience preferred. Enthusiasm is mandatory.
If you can lead this congregation to a new level, and if you lean towards country living, Herold Mennonite Church is waiting for you.

Calvary Baptist Church is located along the main north/ south corridor of Yankton. Our church is served by a Senior Pastor, an Associate Pastor, a Youth Pastor, and a CMD—a position which has been vacant since October 2014. The CMD position is an integral part of our pastoral staff and our church body. Calvary’s worship time is a time to share, learn, and apply God’s word. It would not be an aberration to witness an individual in jeans and t-shirt sitting next to another in suit and tie. We come to worship and serve a risen Savior.

Yankton has a population of about 15,000 and sits along the banks of the Missouri National Recreational River. Our community ranges widely in socio-economical classes, and so does our church body. Public education consists of 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. Parochial education consists of 1 Catholic elementary and middle school, and 1 non-denominational Christian school.

2 Years of Children’s Ministry experience required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Director of Student Ministries

Faith Westwood

Omaha, NE

We’re praying for God to send us a fulltime director of student ministry to lead our middle and high school students, along with our team of adults. FaithWestwood’s vision is to help people become deep, daring, daily disciples of Jesus, and that’s our vision for students, too.

This summer both middle and high school students are keeping it local with a week of Urban Plunge in Omaha.
FaithWestwood partners with Youth for Christ to host a Campus Life club in our gym on Wednesdays after school. Plus, we have our own daily after-school ministry for middle school students run by another staff member. This summer we’ll break ground on some fabulous new space for student ministry, and we expect it will be ready by the end of the year.
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least a few years of full time student ministry experience to join our collaborative staff.

Send resume and cover letter to our lead pastor: steve.todd@faithwestwood.com.

Children's Ministry Director

Yankton, SD

For children and their families within the body, and outside the body of Calvary. Our children’s ministries encompass ages Birth to 6th grade. We are appealing for an individual who will partner with us in building upon current children’s ministries, and who will seek to develop shepherding relationships with children and their families. Experience working with children is essential, as well as demonstrated excellence in Bible-based teaching skills. Our desire is to call a candidate with the abilities to recruit, lead, collaborate, and communicate with leaders and volunteers.
