The Media & Video Tech will work in conjunction with the Executive Director, Executive Assistant, and Program Director to produce high quality videos, photographs, and promotional materials in a timely and professional manner. Individuals must have a good working knowledge of PC/Mac, video, and photo editing software, sound equipment, and presentation software. Must be at least 16 years old. The Adventure and Recreation Program staff will work with the Program Director and Executive Director to develop, enhance, and oversee the execution of our summer programs. These individuals should be creative organized dedicated to our team and mission, and comfortable in front of large groups. They are trained to supervise our high ropes challenge courses, manage program equipment, prepare Wide Area Games, and run and maintain our paintball program. Camp Counselor

A Cabin Counselor works directly with one cabin of 6-10 campers each week. They set the spiritual climate and direction of the cabin for the week by leading Bible Study, facilitating team-building initiatives and modeling the love of Christ by caring for the needs of their campers. Counseling is the most physically and emotionally demanding position on our summer staff team, but offers some of the more rewarding opportunities. Counselors receive training in first aid, CPR, low ropes facilitation, and evangelism during staff training. Counselors should be at least one year out of high school. (Though some exceptions may apply.)

Camp Counselor

Would you like to spend your summer serving youth in beautiful big sky country? Big Sky Bible Camp, a non-denominational Christian camp located in Bigfork, Montana, is seeking counselors for the summer 2014 season. We require applicants to be 18 years of age and prefer a year of work or college. Counselor orientation begins in mid-June, and the summer season runs through mid-August. Each week of camp will present new and exciting opportunities to minister to different groups, from high school and junior high age, to junior and day campers, and even two weeks of a special needs camp, Camp Promise. We are seeking spiritually mature, enthusiastic leaders. You will be responsible for a group of campers each week, discipling them through discussion, Bible study, and leadership in electives, chapel, games, meals, and much more. Camp runs from Monday – Saturday morning, with free time in between to relax at our beautiful lakefront, sight see at nearby Glacier National Park, and spend time with fellow counselors. Camp Counselor

Part 1 - Counselor Training Institute May 27 - June 10
An extensive two week training program is designed to prepare counselors for their responsibilities. It is a balanced training/work experience with an emphasis on spiritual growth and development.
Resident Youth Camps June 11 - July 12
All week long youth camps (age 8 - 12th grade) start on a Sunday and end the following Saturday, the half week camp begins on Wednesday and ends on Saturday. Each week will include about 240 campers.
Application to Counselor Training Institute (CTI) is open to anyone who has been out of high school for at least one year and is serious about serving God. No experience is neccessary because CTI includes two weeks of intensive training prior to four and a half weeks of counseling. Each counselor is responsible for seven to eight campers.
The seven-week Institute will provide room, board, and a salary of $1680. In addition, some students earn up to eight hours of college credit. Additional employment opportunities are available starting in mid July through the month of August.

Camp Lifeguard

MISSIONSTATEMENT:The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet the human needs in His name without discrimination.
SUMMARY: Lifeguards assist the Head Lifeguard in maintaining strict safety rules and procedures at the pool and waterfront, while at the same time creating an atmosphere of fun for the swimmers and boaters.
Properly maintain the pool and waterfront areas as directed by the Head Lifeguard.
Specific Duties-Lifeguard:
•Work with the Head Lifeguard to:
(1) Set up buddy system for swimmers
(2) Plan fair and effective system of consequences for rules broken
(3) Create interesting presentation of rules & safety procedures
•Conduct swim tests, help supervise pool or waterfront activities as per schedule.
•Help with daily cleaning and maintenance of all aquatic areas – pool, changing rooms, equipment rooms, Waterfront dock and equipment
•Participate in all staff meetings, evening programs and devotions. Assist with program components as needed.
Specific Duties- Janitorial/Housekeeping
•General maintenance and cleaning of the guest cottages, chapel, offices, hallways and bathrooms.
•Washing of camp laundry, including cleaning the kitchen laundry, making sure the linen bins are clean, putting away linens, and keeping the linen room in an orderly fashion.
•Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the position.
