Completing Your Degree at Grace University Has Never Been More Valuable

A college degree has never held more value. This is an especially important message for the nearly two-thirds of Omahans (65%) who have not earned a bachelor’s degree.

Data analysis completed by the Economic Policy Institute in Washington shows that the pay gap between college graduates and those without degrees reached an all-time high in 2013. The contrast is startling – those with a four-year college degree earn 98% more on average than their counterparts without a degree.

“We talk to adults every day in the Omaha area who have a goal of completing their college degrees, but they don’t see a clear path to getting there,” said Dr. David Barnes, president of Grace University. “It is not for lack of desire or commitment, they just haven’t found a program that fits their work life and personal life.”

“The exciting news is that Grace University has flexible and affordable opportunities for the many adults in Omaha who have always wanted to complete a four-year degree but didn’t,” Barnes added.

Grace University is forming adult degree completion classes right now in business leadership, psychology and ministries. Students can complete their degrees in as little as 16 months.

“We offer adult learners a clear path to achieve their degrees and advance their careers, with the added benefit of doing so within the context of a faith-based, Christian environment,” Barnes said.
