Grace University Receives Enrollment Growth Award

Grace University has been awarded the Jonathan N. Thigpen Enrollment Growth Award from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). The award stems from Grace University experiencing a 29 percent growth rate in enrollment in the 2013-2014 school year. Counseling Department Chair Receives High Honor From APA

Vermooten, LindaDr. Linda Vermooten has been named a Diplomate within the American Psychotherapy Association®.

Dr. Vermooten’s new designation as Diplomate is limited to a select group of professionals who have demonstrated outstanding abilities within their specialty and meet the stringent requirements of the American Psychotherapy Association in the areas of knowledge, skill, education, training and experience in the therapeutic process. Faculty Member Keynote Speaker at Alcohol and Drug Awareness Breakfast

2014102495083057As part of Grace University’s continued effort to develop servant leaders and lead by example, faculty regularly serve within the community.

Jim Santoro, Dean of the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, was the keynote speaker at the Bellevue Drug Commission’s recent Alcohol and Drug Awareness Breakfast. Santoro, a licensed professional counselor, discussed the importance of educating our children and their parents on the dangers of alcohol and drug use as well as the importance of team work between parents, teachers, law enforcement and counselors. He spoke to more than 75 people of all ages during the annual event where community members are honored for their commitment to preventing substance abuse. $1 Million Gift Establishes Grace University School of Professional and Graduate Studies

Grace University today announced the establishment of the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, the result of a $1 million gift from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. With this gift, the Grace University Board of Trustees has, to date, committed $1.7 million to the Growing with Grace campaign.
