Completing Your Degree at Grace University Has Never Been More Valuable

A college degree has never held more value. This is an especially important message for the nearly two-thirds of Omahans (65%) who have not earned a bachelor’s degree.

Data analysis completed by the Economic Policy Institute in Washington shows that the pay gap between college graduates and those without degrees reached an all-time high in 2013. The contrast is startling – those with a four-year college degree earn 98% more on average than their counterparts without a degree. Counseling Department Chair Recognized by American Psychotherapy Association®

Vermooten, LindaDr. Linda Vermooten has been awarded Member status in the American Psychotherapy Association® and recognition as a Board Certified Professional Counselor. Member status in the association is reserved for individuals who are devoted to the field of psychotherapy and committed to continuing their education.

Grace University Experiences Largest New Student Enrollment in 30 Years

Grace University has the largest new student enrollment in more than 30 years. The number of new students arriving on campus from across the country total 161, which is a 55 percent increase over 2012. This is also the second consecutive year that enrollment has increased for the private, Christian university. Enrollment data show that while the top number of students are from Nebraska, California is ranked as the number two home state for new Grace University students.  Additional incoming freshman are already applying for the January 2014 semester. Grace University’s Graduate Program is Expanding

The Graduate College at Grace University is expanding ministry opportunities and doubling its size with the addition of three new highly sought-after programs.

“We are excited to offer our community more options for Christian higher education at the graduate level,” said Dr. David M. Barnes, president of Grace University. “We want our students prepared for ministries in key career fields, and these graduate programs are an important outreach opportunity.”
