Vermooten, LindaDr. Linda Vermooten has been awarded Member status in the American Psychotherapy Association® and recognition as a Board Certified Professional Counselor. Member status in the association is reserved for individuals who are devoted to the field of psychotherapy and committed to continuing their education.

Speaker’s Bureau Established to Share God’s Work at Grace

In an effort to share the work being done at Grace University, a speaker’s bureau has been established to reach out to business and community organizations, civic groups, churches and youth groups. President Emeritus Recognized for Service to Higher Education

ABHE Award

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) has awarded the distinguished Biblical Higher Education award to Dr. James Eckman, president emeritus of Grace University. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing and assuring quality biblical higher education.

Dr. Eckman was recognized because of his nearly 20 years of commitment to biblical higher education and the ABHE – chairing 20 accreditation review teams, serving on the ABHE Commission for two terms and serving on the ABHE board. He served as AHBE Board chairman for three years and helped raise more than $100,000 for the ABHE’s leadership center in Orlando.
