Student Body (SBA) Officers
The Student Body Association (S.B.A.) exists for the purpose of fostering spiritual growth and fellowship, of promoting the welfare of the students, and of directing student affairs.
PURPOSE OF THE SBA EXECUTIVE
- To foster spiritual growth and fellowship
- To watch out for the welfare of the students
- To promote student activities
FUNCTION OF THE SBA EXECUTIVE
- Is the link between the student body and the administration
- Appoints and supervises subsidiary committees
- Plans regular Grace L.I.F.E. chapels
- Oversees banquets, school picnics and Day of Prayer v Plans and promotes
on-going campus-wide activities

- 2.5 G.P.A.
- Secure 25 student signatures (form available in the Student Development Office) and return to SDO [by deadline]
- Brief speech in chapel
Secretary/Treasurer
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2.5 G.P.A.

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
- Arrive on campus early
- Attend the pre-school Leadership Retreat, for prayer, planning and team-building
- Prepare the campus for student arrival
- Help with new student orientation and registration
- Participate in the New Student Getaway and Community Service Project,
- Participate in regular leadership training sessions during Friday Activity Hours
- Meet regularly with the SBA Executive Committee to pray and plan

How do I run?
General Information
The S.B.A. election is held during the month of March. To qualify, candidates must have maintained a grade point average of at least 2.5 while at Grace and shall obtain twenty-five student signatures and faculty approval.
The S.B.A. shall seek additional candidates if a sufficient number of applicants is not received. A primary election is held in the event that more than two candidates are running for an office. The two candidates for each office receiving the highest number of votes run in the general election. Winners of the general election are determined by majority ballot.
