The Berean Bible Church, part of the Fellowship of Berean Churches, of Lexington, NE is in need of a senior pastor. The church was the second one to be established in the fellowship, so it is a stable ministry. As many as 200 parishioners have worshiped with us over the years, but at present our congregation numbers around 50.
We are debt free and have started to see a renewed interest in Sunday School, Sunday worship and several other weekly and monthly activities. Mitchell Evangelical Free Church in Mitchell Ne. is seeking a pastor. MEFC is a fellowship of about 45 to 55 people. The High School Pastor will work closely with the entire youth team to help lead a healthy and vibrant student ministry of the Lincoln Berean Church. The focus of this position is on creative communication, teach and disciple high school students/leaders and providing resources for parents. This person will also help recruit leaders and come alongside parents to help them as they disciple their high school student.

30 • Work with youth staff to develop a teaching plan and creative ways to communicate the truth of the scriptures including small-group Bible studies and curriculum writing.

Other Random Thoughts
Above all, this person needs to be a shepherd, in the people sense. They must absolutely love meeting with students and their parents and have the ability to put people at ease in order that they will feel comfortable in sharing. In addition to teaching the scriptures, this person must have the unique ability multiply leaders. It would also help if they enjoy developing small-group Bible studies to be used by other leaders. The two primary gathering environments for our High School Youth are Reverb on Sunday nights and House Groups throughout the week. This person needs to be able to work with the youth staff to develop and lead the students – teaching them to live out their faith each week.
Goals and Evaluation
This person will answer directly to the Ministry Area Leader. Every three months there will be an evaluation of how the ministry is doing. Each position will be given feedback on areas they are doing well, areas to improve and discussion about how to help them be more effective in their role.

We are looking for a new Pastor of Youth Ministries to lead our Junior and Senior High school ministries. It is a well-established program with excellent volunteers. The new pastor will be mentored by our former Youth Pastor who is now our Campus Pastor for an upcoming satellite campus.
