Children's Ministry Intern

Primary Role:
To assist the Children’s Ministries Pastor and Early Childhood Pastor in accomplishing the mission (Share Jesus With Children~Grow Believers) & vision of the StoneBridge Christian Church Children’s Ministry. This vision is to help children:
• Love God and Love People
• Know how to talk with God and Share God with Others
• Choose God

Primary Responsibilities:
Summer Special Events
• 3 Weeks of camp @ Camp of the Good Shepherd
• 3 Weeks of on-site StoneBridge Hollow Camps
• Fireworks Bonanza

Monthly:
• Assist with planning and execution of Natasha’s Community Club days
• Journeys classes
• Baby Blessings class
• Assist with set design for Summer curriculum themes

Weekly:
• Serving as Ministry Assistant for all 3 Sunday services
• Rotate through a variety of positions for experience in working with children
o Serve as teacher in the classroom on Sundays and or events
o Serve as large group host, storyteller, skit role, worship leader
o Serve as support staff (check-in assistant, hall facilitator, etc.)
• Complete other assignments from the Children’s Ministries Pastor/ Early Childhood Pastor

Planning and Executing:
• Assist the Children’s Ministries Pastor/ Early Childhood Pastor in planning of events and decision making
