The AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) Team Leader coordinates the activities of 10-12 Corps Members in service projects that generally last 6-8 weeks on community outreach projects in the areas of natural and other disasters, environment, energy conservation, infrastructure improvement and urban and rural development. He/She serves as a role model, facilitator, educator and safety manager while encouraging high standards for 18-24 year old members involved in community-based service learning projects. The Team Leader serves as a liaison between the campus and project sponsor and reports directly to a Unit Leader. 
In exchange for an 11-month commitment, Team Leaders receive the following: living allowance of $12,500, room and board, limited health and child care benefits, education award of $5,645, student loan forbearance, uniforms, transportation to and from the campus at the beginning and end of the program, and the opportunity to travel and learn new skills.

We are a Coffee Cafe in the Historical Florence area of Omaha ( I-680 at 30th St Exit) opening soon! We are in need of some part time workers. Mainly Baristas, cooks, wait staff. We will be open from 6 AM - 8 PM Monday - Thurs. We will be open later on Fri/Sat with live acoustic music. Sundays we are open from 7 AM - 2 PM. Kinetic Potential (KP) Scholars, a Digital Network Group program, is a long-term mentoring and youth development program that provides academic, social and professional development to participants. KP Scholars leverages innovative technology to deliver distance learning services and integrates the resources of community stakeholders with the goal of helping youth secure careers with high earning potential. Generally delivered as an after school program, KP Scholars is being implemented during the 2014-2015 school year in failing schools throughout Washington, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, Washington, DC and Maryland. The program is financed through No Child Left Behind federal legislation and by our KP Network Partners.
Position Description: The KP Apprentice – Lead Executive is a member of the KP Scholars management team responsible for the successful execution of a local KP Scholars project to 25 k-12 youth utilizing a team of 5 college students as KP Mentors. The KP Apprentice –Lead Executive provides strategic direction and oversight across all activities associated with their assigned KP Scholars’ project. The ultimate measure of success for the KP Apprentice – Lead Executive is expected project outcomes (i.e., increase in student academic performance, meeting financial targets, customer satisfaction, etc). KP Apprentice –Lead Executives receive ongoing professional development in the areas of Program/Project Management, Customer Service, Technology (i.e., CRM, CMS, KP Mentoring and Learning Technology), Marketing and Youth Services. Position Position Description: The KP Scholars Faculty Mentor is a member of the local KP Scholars management team and provides oversight, coaching and mentorship to 1-2 KP Scholars delivery teams working primarily with the Lead Executive. Integrating research, teaching and learning with the guidance provided to the project team aides in the successful execution of KP Scholars. Ensuring that college students maintain balance between their academic responsibilities and work commitments is an essential function for this role. Faculty Mentors also assist our college students with career planning activities and provide guidance on how to maximize the resources of the college / university to support their career goals. 
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the recruitment and selection of college students to participate as KP Apprentices.
• Review weekly status report an provide input
• Conduct monthly meetings, online or in person, with Lead Executive to discuss progress and provide recommendations to assist with team dynamics and achieving project goals.

KP Mentors are responsible for identifying additional activities / resources for students during high risk periods (3pm-6pm Mon-Fri during the school year and throughout the day during the summer) that build skills that prepare youth for careers with high earning potential. The ultimate measure of success for the KP Mentor is student attendance and student academic per formance. KP Mentors receive ongoing professional development in the areas of Customer Service, Technology (i.e., CRM, CMS, KP Mentoring and Learning Platform), Marketing and Youth Services. 
Responsibilities:
• Support Lead Executive in recruiting 25 k-12 students for each KP Scholars program implementation.
• Provide program administration—scheduling student tutorial sessions, capturing student sign-in, maintaining student records, and ensuring readiness of school’s computer lab
• Engage with parents / school officials on the progress of students and goals of KP Scholars program
• Conduct research on local and national youth service providers and develop a brief write-up in Social-Light, KP’s online blog.
Qualifications:
• Current college student, educator or community member that is comfortable with technology and distance learning services
• Passionate about youth development and improving quality of future workforce
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to mentor and inspire youth to Want More. Do More. Be More.

• Assist in the recruitment of up to 5 college students to serve as your team of KP Mentors that will support recruitment and implementation. Coordinate with college career services office and KP Scholars corporate.
• Maintain regular communication with KP Scholars management team to facilitate transparency in operations and ensure all team members are on the same page regarding project goals and expected performance. Documentation in basecamp & CRM system along with weekly status updates are required.
• Manage project budget ensuring project is delivered on time and within defined budget parameters. 
• Serve as central point of contact with local K-12 school customers—attend meetings, onsite visits, collaboration on logistics (i.e., use of computer lab, days for service, hours, etc). 
• Provide oversight for all on-site project delivery—both staff and logistics required for delivery.

• Passionate about youth development and improving quality of future workforce
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, with strong organizational skills, results oriented
• Ability to provide a vision, actively problem solve and lead a team with confidence

Temporary Payroll Assistant

This position will assist the Payroll Department with employee data entry, payroll processing, processing reports, data maintenance, and additional assistance as needed. This position will learn the company’s proprietary software and serve as a resource to the Franchise Group and franchise owners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Monitor the receipt and completion of all new hire paperwork from Franchise Owners
• Enter all new employees into payroll processing software
• Enter all employee change updates into the payroll software
• Run reports and monitor franchise turnover
• Assist with processing payroll for select franchises, this includes, but is not limited to transfer of payroll information from timekeeping software to payroll software

Youth Program Front Door Coordinator

City Impact is seeking a part-time Front Door Coordinator for Bible Club and the Impact Leadership Academy (ILA). Both programs teach biblical essentials while valuing strengths-based leadership development; empowering youth to use their God-given gifts to impact their world. These programs are volunteer driven and family-focused, therefore many people are coming in and out of the building throughout the evening requiring a friendly face to greet all participants and a monitor to keep everyone safe. 

The Front Door Coordinator will greet and assist staff, parents, volunteers, and students as they enter and leave the building. They will also provide a minimal security presence by being observant of adults entering the building not connected with City Impact and help with set-up and take-down.

The hours will be Tuesday from 4:30pm-9:00pm and Sunday from 4:30-9:30 pm (9.50 hours/week). Hourly pay is $10.25 - $11.25 an hour based on education and experience.

Program Specialist-In Home Services

We have recently received many clients needing our Intensive Family Preservation and Family Support services from within the new refugee communities. We have gladly been working with them, but we feel we would be more effective if our social workers had a better understanding of the cultural background of these clients.

We would like to share the attached job opportunity with any graduating/graduated students who speak Burmese, Nuer or Karen. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, but does not necessarily need any work experience. The candidate will work 35-40 hours per week, at various times of the day and week (according to client needs.) They will go into homes of families that are at risk of having their children removed from the family by the courts for any reason, and work to preserve the family through education, advice and resource identification.
