Professional Profile

Mr. Williams began teaching as an adjunct physical education teacher in fall 2011. He has recently joined the Department of Physical Education as a full-time faculty member after he earned his Master of Science degree in Human Performance in Physical Education from Adams State University in summer 2013.

Mr. Williams also has a Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education-Secondary History from Grace University. He served the past four years as the Athletic Recruiter for the Royal Athletic Programs and is the Head Men's Basketball Coach.

Teaching and Related Service

Mr. Williams teaches classes in health & wellness and coaching education. He also serves as the advisor for those students that are pursuing their coaching certification.

Research and Creative Activity

Mr. Williams' passion falls under discipleship and mentoring of young men and women. Through his studies and experience as a coach he focuses on training young coaches who care more for their players than what the final score displays. He says, "we play to win, but winning is not everything".

Personal Sketch

Mr. Williams lives in Omaha, NE with his wife, Kendra, and his two sons, Tre(4) and Carter (15 months). He loves the sport of basketball as he believes athletics mirror life and there are so many valuable life lessons and experiences one can gain through participation in sports. He is a die-hard Lakers fan and he enjoys jumping on the bed with his two boys and watching movies with his wife.
