English Language Learning (ELL)

Completing the 15 credits of online coursework for an English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching endorsement gives current and prospective educators a flexible learning option that facilitates their success with English Language Learners (ELL) in diverse classrooms, improves their marketability, and increases their earning potential.

Here's what you can expect from the English Language Learning programs at Grace University:

      • Online classes run concurrently for 15 weeks.
      • Class sizes are kept small to increase student-instructor interaction and to foster community.
      • Student-centered learning incorporates diverse activities—written assignments and projects, class discussion boards, and textbook reading—to ensure the highest-quality preparation.
      • Instructors bring not only their professional expertise, but also a unique, faith-based approach to their subjects.

A supplemental endorsement is offered at both the undergraduateand the graduate levels.
