Students Speak

"I think that my time at Grace has really prepared me for success in the classroom.  The professors at Grace are on the cutting edge of educational philosophy and methods.  The classes I took were relevant and interesting.  People respect the educational system at Grace and realize that it is producing solid teachers who will make an impact in the classroom.  The Biblical knowledge that I gained, while stimulating my personal relationship with Christ, is also very relevant in the classroom. The things I have learned will help me demonstrate Christ's love and grace to the students and faculty that I interact with every day."

Nick Kaiser

I have studied at Grace University for four years, and plan to graduate next year with a Secondary English degree with a supplementary endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL).
A plurality of the education professionals in the modern world are female, and as a guy, it can sometimes be overwhelming finding my place in the university scene.  Mr. Hood has brought an excellent example to the field of education.  He has given me a unique perspective on teaching and lives as he teaches.  His stories, while usually very funny, are always filled with wisdom that I will be able to apply to my future classroom.  His outgoing personality and willingness to get to know each of his students has inspired me to see my value as an educator and find my niche.
