Founded in 1943, Grace University is a growing campus in a historic neighborhood between Omaha’s top two tourist attractions. Based on a solid Christian foundation, Grace University has a diverse student body of more than 500 students in undergraduate, graduate and adult-degree completion programs. Students receive a strong biblical education while receiving a top-quality professional education as well.
The mission of Grace University is to develop servant leaders for the home, the church, and the world through excellence in biblically-integrated education and through life change in a personal, discipling environment, all for the glory of God.
A successful candidate will be able to build a successful, sustainable program from the ground up while integrating this program into the current athletic offerings. Initial plans should be built with the long-term success of the program as the goal. A successful coach will be able to incorporate all details for a quality program from its inception to the start of the inaugural season.
Reporting to the Athletic Director, the Head Coach is responsible for designing the new program, planning, developing, administering, and evaluating the overall performance of the team including:
A successful candidate will have a strong Christian character, coaching experience, academic experience and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse campus environment. A successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the mission of Grace University. The successful candidate must also provide positive leadership in all aspects of the baseball program and must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all internal and external patrons. . Candidates with college experience in baseball and college teaching is preferred. Appointment date as soon as possible.
