Grace University - Academics

2007-2008 Grace University Catalog

Bachelor of Science in Communications
Concentration in Graphic Communications

The Graphic Communications Concentration is designed to prepare students for careers in print graphics or web design.  Students have practical opportunities to build skills not only though in-class project based courses, but through practicum's and internships. Many of the professional requirement courses are taught at Iowa Western Community College. (IWCC is located just eight miles from campus.)  Iowa Western has a well equipped computer graphics lab for regular student access. Usage of this lab is valuable to students as part of their course work and class projects.  The Communication theory and media ethics courses taught at Grace University help students develop the skills to think through media issues from a Christian perspective.
