Church & Community Ministries

The Christian Ministry programs offer a variety of concentrations leading to either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministries.  All students in these programs--with the exception of the camping ministry concentration--will take a ministry core of 25 hours and then specialize in one of three professional ministry concentrations.


Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry Degree
    • Concentration in Camping
    • Concentration in Christian Education
    • Concentration in Youth Ministry

Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry Degree
    • Concentration in Pastoral Ministry

Objectives:
These objectives apply to all Christian Ministry students:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge and skill in ministry leadership.
  2. Utilize interpersonal relationship skills.
  3. Develop an ability to communicate God’s word in a variety of contexts.
  4. Articulate key issues relating to finances for a non-profit organization.
  5. Discover the spiritual knowledge and maturity needed to carry on a full-time church ministry.
  6. Fulfill the objectives of the Biblical Studies Division; and
  7. Fulfill the objectives of the General Studies Division.
